Prof. Allison Pugh was recently awarded a 2026 Guggenheim fellowship.  The fellowship is designed to allow scholars to “pursue independent work at the highest level under the freest possible conditions.”  

Pugh will conduct research for a new book project on “relational friction.”  See the Guggenheim Foundation for more information.
