PhD alum just elected the next ASA President!

Adia Harvey Wingfield Elected 2024–2025 President; Allison J. Pugh Is Vice President

We are pleased to announce that Adia Harvey Wingfield, Washington University in St. Louis, has been elected the 116th ASA President, and Allison J. Pugh, University of Virginia, has been elected ASA Vice President. Professors Wingfield and Pugh will serve as President-elect and Vice President-elect for one year before succeeding Joya Misra, University of Massachusetts–Amherst, and Jennifer Reich, University of Colorado–Denver, respectively, in August 2024. Wingfield will chair the Program Committee that will shape the ASA Annual Meeting program in San Francisco, August 8–12, 2025.
