A hearty welcome to our newest colleague, Emily Agree!

Emily Agree will be joining the department as our first ever Research Professor. She is specializing in aging and social gerontology. She has held a joint appointment with the department for many years. In addition to her teaching, she will be the department’s liaison to the Public Health major, as well as to the East Baltimore campus more generally.  At the same time, the Research Professor appointment will allow her to continue her program of research, as well as her involvement with the Pop Center and the Center for Population Aging and Health, which she directs.
